LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary Budget of the Town of Mayfield for the fiscal year beginning January 1 2026 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 28 N. School St, Mayfield NY  where it is available for inspection by any interested person during reasonable hours.  FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Mayfield will meet and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Town Board on Thursday November 6 2025 at 6:15 PM and at such hearing, any person may be heard in favor or against the Preliminary Budget as completed or any items therein contained.  The meeting will be held at the Municipal Complex, 28 N. School St, Mayfield NY 12117.  Pursuant to section 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected Town Offices are as follows:  Supervisor $24,257; Town Council 4 @ 5,330 for $21,320;  Town Justice 2 @ 19,416 for $38,832; Town Clerk (Collector of Taxes) $37,183; Highway Superintendent $58,500.
